The CLN Group established in 2021 the award named after the memory of Amulio Cipriani, which is reserved for undergraduate and Ph.D. theses, with the aim of incentivizing university work projects aimed at the implementation of "green" in the steel industry that has now become a guiding principle in the entire steel supply chain.
This award, aimed at young people in steelmaking, fully reflects the spirit of Amulio Cipriani, who always turned with the utmost generosity to innovation, the desire for knowledge by improving himself, dedication to his work and above all to respect for others (also understood as the environment) so that he would be remembered as a unique and therefore truly special person.
The award in the name of Amulio, who dedicated more than 50 years in the Italian iron and steel industry, is not only a just recognition of an innovative project but should be understood above all as a further stimulus to a young professional who combines in a balanced way and with intelligence, passion for innovation together with intellectual honesty, without which every life and professional project would have no reason to exist.
The CLN Group, in recognizing the implementation of the principles of the "circular" economy as a priority, is committed to operating responsibly towards the surrounding environment, with special attention to the health and safety of all employees and people working at production sites.
The award ceremony will be held on May 09 at 11:00 a.m. inside ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia's stand L04 Hall 24 at Made in Steel, at fieramilano Rho, Milan.
