Always prioritizing safety and aiming for efficiency, another recent investment, this time at our Tamagnone srl, was the revamping of the horizontal coils tong HCT42T.
Thanks to the general overhaul, the adaptation for application to the OrmigTM60 crane and the construction of the new complete suspension assembly, now the capacity of the tong is 42 t and thus allows it to handle the maximum weight transportable by a wagon cradle.

The improvements were in particular:
• construction of coat with EPS type insulating panels 14 cm thick
• attic insulation on crawl space with EPS type insulating panels 14 cm thick
• insulation of crawl space towards the attic with EPS type insulating panels 14 cm thick
• new PVC windows with double glazing with solar control
This year we decided to join the "A TREE FOR SAFETY" project with the patronage of ANMIL (Associazione Nazionale fra Lavoratori Mutilati e Invalidi del Lavoro) and Azione Cattolica.
This tree represents our commitment to fighting and reducing the risk of accidents at work, which is why we dedicate it to all victims of work and their families.

At ArcelorMittal CLN, we are committed to promoting gender equality in the workplace every day. We actively engage our employees through various initiatives, both at the central and local levels, to foster an inclusive environment.
On 11 July 2024 the "Health and Safety Days 2024" tour ended with the Atella site. This last event also involved the workers of AMCLN Atella and MA Melfi sites.
The day saw the alternation of interventions both on safety and environment, concluding with the awarding of the safety spots prepared by the workers of the AMCLN and MA companies.
The awards were:
1. Best Idea at AMCLN Marcon
2. Better effectiveness of the message to MA Melfi
3. Best commercial at AMCLN Caselette/Alpignano
The event ended with a goodbye to 2025.
On 5 July 2024, the Bishop of Melfi-Rapolla-Venosa visited our Atella plant.
The visit was an opportunity for reflection for the workers, the employees and the plant manager. We talked about work and dignity, safety and the environment, and how important economic stability is to realize dreams, ambitions and personal expectations.
Furthermore, it was underlined how important "corporate social responsibility" is today and the ability of companies to maintain a strong relationship with the territory in which they operate.
On June 22nd, the “Health and Safety Days 2024” tour landed in Condove. This third event involved the workers of AMCLN Caselette and Alpignano sites; of MA Condove, Rivoli and Chivasso sites; of MWI Rivoli site; of CTL S.r.l. and Tamagnone S.r.l.
AMCLN is also a partner of customers as a contractor thanks to its technical and operational flexibility, able to comply with requirements and propose new solutions thanks to its experience.
Also in 2024 CLN Group renews its participation in the Career Day of the Polytechnic of Turin.
In this edition we will be participating together with ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia, the point of reference for the processing and distribution of flat carbon steel products.
This fair, which brings together job supply and demand, allows our Company and young engineering students and graduates to meet and get to know each other.
On May 10th, the second stage of the "Health and Safety Days 2024" tour was at the Fontanellato site, involving all the workers of the AMCLN Group plants.
In this second event, in addition to the workers from the Fontanellato site, those from the Osimo and Marcon sites also participated.
The last two stages will be held in Condove (TO) and Atella (PZ).
Also during this day, the attention of all participants was drawn to the principles of the culture of health, safety and the environment, fundamental cornerstones for the AMCLN Group.
On April 5th, the first of four "Health and Safety Days 2024" was held at the Monza site, involving all workers of the AMCLN Group plants.
At this first event, in addition to the workers of the Monza site, those of the AMCLN Group companies Delna S.p.A. and Tamagnone S.r.l. also participated.
The next three stages will be held at the sites of Fontanellato (PR), Condove (TO) and Atella (PZ).
The Health and Safety Days are moments of great importance to draw the attention of all participants to the principles of health and safety culture.
AMCLN has been awarded with the Credit Reputation Award for "Top for punctuality towards the banking system in the year 2023" in category 1, i.e. companies with a turnover exceeding €250 million.
The Credit Reputation Awards are awards given from the editorial board of Milano Finanza Centrale Risk and it is assigned by analyzing the objective data coming from the Centrale Rischi of the Bank of Italy.
In 2023 AMCLN reduced the environmental impact also thanks to rail transport for the north and from the beginning of 2024 it also implemented the train solution for the central south.
Less CO2 generated in 2023, decrease of approximately 470 tons, and further reduction in the future !
ArcelorMittal CLN has taken a significant step towards innovation and safety by installing advanced AMC Instruments systems on an overhead crane at its Caselette factory.
These devices offer continuous monitoring of the ropes, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With this cutting-edge technology, we are now able to keep the ropes under constant control, ensuring safety in the workplace.
This not only optimizes productivity but also ensures an uninterrupted workflow.
25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, established in 1999 in memory of all victims.
This day aims to raise awareness of the many forms of violence that women suffer every day: feminicide, psychological, economic, sexual, linguistic violence, wage inequality.
Since a few days the new carrier of Delna, cretaed focusing on safety and service, is ready.
It has been designed for handling steel coils with a max weight of 40 tons, a max external diameter of 2210 mm and a max width of 1900 mm.
It will be active at Delna from the end of November 2023.
The 73rd National Day for Victims of Accidents at Work will be celebrated on 8 October 2023.
