On 8 May 2018, archbishop Cesare Nosiglia paid a visit to our ArcelorMittal CLN Group headquarters and production site in Caselette.
The visit was a favorable opportunity to stop production while workers, managers, owners and employees shared precious moments of reflection. Work and dignity, safety and environment were discussed as well as the importance of economic stability to realize personal dreams, expectations and ambitions.

On April 4, 2018, an agreement was signed to formalize the entry of ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia srl into the capital of Centro Servizi Metalli S.p.A. (CSM) with a shareholding equal to 42.39%, working hand in glove with the Industeel Belgium Group,  part of the ArcelorMittal Group, which concurrently rises from 21% to 49%.

Tamagnone, carrier and logistics operator specialized in transport and storage of coils, was chosen by ArcelorMittal for handling the rails produced in their plants in Spain and Poland, addressed at different construction sites of Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian State Railways) to improve the current railway network.
The 108-metre rails commissioned by Ferrovie dello Stato are for high-speed lines and for replacement of old 16/23-meter rails sections.

The ArcelorMittal CLN group is pleased to announce the aggregation of a new production site at San Mango sul Calore (AV).
The goal is to consolidate and strengthen the level of service offered to the Southern Italy customers in the sector of metal parts, mainly the industry one.

At our Atella Service Center, the beginning of 2018 saw the completion of the ambitious production project dedicated to the cold stamping of metal components for the automotive sector.

Our goal is to integrate the service offered until now, completing the range. Thanks to the investments, which are now being implemented, the stamping activity has been started by installing a 1250 tons press, already operational. 

Within Rieti’s service center a new production unit was born dedicated to cold stamping and assembly of metal components for the automotive sector.

Within a production rationalisation process, on 31/12/2017 the Civate plant was sold to Itla Bonaiti srl, a CLN Group company, specialised in the sector of high-carbon steel re-rolling.

On 31/12/2017 the acquisition of Metallurgica Graffignana S.r.l. was accomplished, through incorporation in ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia srl.

The production plant – located in via Marcora 16, Graffignana (LO) Italy – joins the production footprint of ArcelorMittal CLN, while maintaining its manufacturing specialisation in the cold rolling business sector.

During the Assofermet Day, an annual appointment of the steel suppliers association held on October 5^th, talks were underway about Europe, dedicating round tables to raw materials, industrial development and protectionism.

ArcelorMittal CLN has offered Rieti's CNA a prefabricated sustainable and anti-seismic building in steel and lime-hemp, which made possible for the only food store - destroyed by the quake - to reopen at Grisciano – Accumoli. Actually, we have not performed alone.

In a sort of ideal ship raising anchor after two years from its debut, ArcelorMittal CLN has welcomed customers and visitors at Made in Steel 2017 (17-19 May 2017 - Milanofiere Rho, Italy).
The concept of links in their meaning of union, connection, capillary presence and future development hub, has been the frame of our stand, which has witnessed a large number of guests during the three-day event.

From May 17 to 19  we are attending Made in Steel tradeshow at Fieramilano Rho. You will find us in hall 24 - stand G01. 

Two years after its debut, ArcelorMittal CLN will attend the forthcoming edition of Made in Steel, the premiere tradeshow for the steel industry.
The 2017 edition will take place in Fieramilanofiera Rho, Milano, Italy, from 17 to 19 May, from 9:30am to 6:30pm.

As part of its geographical diversification and industrial strategy, ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia announces the acquisition, through its controlled Acierplus, of the French industrial plants of Biars-sur-Cère, Châteaubriant and Héricourt, formerly belonging to ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions. The plants manufacture semi-finished products for medium-heavy steel-work carpentry for railway, construction, agriculture, and lifting sectors.

Our CEO, Rinaldo Baldi, attended as protagonist the round table organized by Siderweb on Nov. 10, on the presentation of the eighth edition of “Bilanci d'Acciaio”.

ArcelorMittal CLN and CLN Group were honoured to welcome a delegation from Marubeni-Itochu Steel, a Japanese company active in processing, import/export, and sales of steel products, last end of September.

A large group of 20 top managers visited our ArcelorMittal CLN steel service centre in Caselette/Alpignano (TO) and MA production plant in Chivasso (TO) .

In the days immediately after the major earthquake that struck the central Italian regions ArcelorMittal CLN came to the aid of affected populations. And we did it our own way.
