On 31/12/2017 the acquisition of Metallurgica Graffignana S.r.l. was accomplished, through incorporation in ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia srl.
The production plant – located in via Marcora 16, Graffignana (LO) Italy – joins the production footprint of ArcelorMittal CLN, while maintaining its manufacturing specialisation in the cold rolling business sector.
On December 13th, an official ceremony took place in Monza, Italy, for the donation of a vehicle equipped for the transportation of disabled people.
This social initiative is part of a project called "Guaranteed Mobility", promoted by the city of Monza, social department, and by PMG Italia, with the aim of guaranteeing a better mobility to the weakest people of the community.

The training day, which has as 2017 slogan for the Group's Day of Health and Safety at Work "Pensa sicuro. Agisci sicuro." (Think safe. Act safe), focused on the primary role of workers in acting in first place in assuming responsibility of theirs and other workers' safety. This was also witnessed by the special video where the main characters were the workers themselves.
ArcelorMittal CLN will present for the second consecutive time its range of Electrical Steels at the forthcoming edition of Coiltech 2017.
Coiltech is the most qualified meeting point in the electromechanical field. The product range offered by the Coiltech exhibitors covers all stages of production of electric motors, transformers, generators and electric pumps.
Coiltech 2017 will take place in Pordenone from 27 to 28 September.
On June 24th, 2017, the yearly Day of Health and Safety at Work took place at the Caselette-Alpignano plant. The training day was attended also by the employees of Tamagnone, the Group's subsidiary specialized in logistic and transport of coils.
Following the 2016 successful events, the Steel Solutions Day is back.
On June 15th, surrounded by a special and charming venue, the Steel Solutions Day Matera took place.
